This Preston artwork captures the notorious Fishergate bollard that wreaked havoc on cars in 2018 and 2019. Several unfortunate drivers found their vehicles stranded atop this formidable obstacle before being rescued. In a decisive move, local authorities removed the menace, sparing many more from certain peril. Today, the remnants of the bollard’s base outside the Army recruitment office serve as a reminder of this turbulent chapter in Preston's history.
